Studio K was formed in 2001 by Imelda Kay who is the principal designer and owner. Before that, she was Head of Design at the award-winning National Museum of Photography, Film & Television (now renamed the National Media Museum) for over 10 years where she worked on a huge range of projects including exhibitions, publications, marketing print and educational resources. During 1997-98 Imelda led the museum's in-house team in the creation of seven new permanent galleries which all opened on time and within budget.
What we do
We specialise in exhibitions and graphic design for museums and the Arts, but we also have many local businesses on our client list. We can design the complete package from concept to completion, or work with your own team. We also offer freelance services to other design companies, especially within the Museums and Heritage sector. Please ask if you are interested.
